Kelly Cook

kelly cookKelly Cook, Managing Director, focuses his efforts on marketing and new investment origination, as well as credit administration of portfolio companies. He joined Costella Kirsch in 2005.

Kelly has over 20 years of operational experience in technology and technology related companies. Most recently in enterprise software sales, he established a track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas. Before joining Costella Kirsch, Kelly was a sales director for Adobe Systems in their enterprise systems group. At Adobe, Kelly built and led a team of sales professionals in North America. Prior to joining Adobe, Kelly led the Energy and Process Manufacturing sales vertical for Ariba. In this role, he developed the sales and execution strategy for the vertical and was the lead subject matter expert on the sales team.

Kelly also held management, business development, finance, and engineering roles at Automated Power Exchange (APX, a venture backed company) Decision Focus (acquired by Manugistics), Secor, Tandem Computers, and Unocal.

Kelly's broad professional experience in enterprise sales, contract negotiations, start-up operations, finance, project management and engineering give him the background to critically evaluate potential client companies, management teams and business plans. Additionally, his extensive enterprise software sales experience translates well to Costella Kirsch's new deal sourcing efforts.

Kelly earned an MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA and a BS in Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.
